Design Documents

This essential first step, creating and approving the design document, allows the client and course designer to determine the path of the course and ensure the course material aligns to the course learning objectives.

For courses developed in Storyline, this would be translated into a storyboard (see right), or for shorter courses developed in Rise 360, development would follow this approved document.

Storyboards

Storyboards take the input of the design document and create the vision for the course developer.

This first view of the course allows the designer to show the client and developer what the course should look like, including scripts for narration, types of interactions and other design aspects.

Feedback from SME's and Stakeholders is essential in this stage to ensure accuracy and alignment to business purpose.

Virtual Instructor Lead Training (VILT)

Virtual Lead Instructor Training, or VILT, marries the best of both in person training and virtual learning. VILT is best suited for businesses that employ personnel across a large region or across the world where gathering all needed employees in one location at the same time makes little financial or logistical sense.

VILT allows training to be taught in a replicable manner by any trained facilitator ensuring all employees receive the same level of training with the same content.

Deliverables include a PowerPoint presentation, a facilitator guide a participant guide, and the design document.

Testimonials

Hailey Welch, GA

"Lauranne was able to help me complete a project when I originally had no idea where to start! She is selfless and generous in her work. I am very lucky to have found someone as knowledgeable as her that was willing and able to collaborate with me on my project! She was able to make time for me quickly to meet a close deadline. Thank you! I couldn't have done this without your great support!"
